WhatsApp is set to launch a range of new features with its Android updates. One of the features includes the ability to silence unknown callers. Users can enable the toggle in Settings > Privacy and mute calls from potentially spam numbers. However, the calls will still be visible in the Calls log and notification tab.
New UI with Bottom Navigation Bar

Forwarding Media with Captions
WhatsApp users will also be able to forward media with already-available captions or add captions to documents when sharing. The feature is rolling out globally and will be available to everyone in the coming weeks. This will allow users to add captions to documents such as a newspaper article or working document before sharing.
