In the latest edition of his Power On newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reveals some exciting news for Apple enthusiasts. According to Gurman, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, expected to launch next year, will come with slightly larger displays. This evolution follows the recent unveiling of the iPhone 15 series, which introduced the Dynamic Island and a 48-megapixel camera previously exclusive to the 2022 Pro models.

The iPhone 16 series is not the only upgrade Apple has in store for its customers. Gurman shares that the tech giant plans to release a new iPad Pro featuring an OLED display, Mac models powered by the M3 chip, and an upgraded Apple Watch ‘Series X’ with a refreshed design and enhanced health features. These new devices are part of Apple’s continuous commitment to expanding and improving its ecosystem of products.

Apple has experienced significant demand for its iPhone 15 Pro Max, with shipments delayed until November in some regions, including the US. The robust demand for this model suggests that consumers are eagerly awaiting the release of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. These future Pro models will not only sport larger screens but also feature a new titanium chassis, ensuring durability and a premium look and feel.

Expectations for the iPad Pro are also high, with rumors of an OLED display upgrade for both the 11-inch and 13-inch models. In addition to enhanced visuals, the next iPad Pro may introduce new accessories, such as an improved Magic Keyboard, further enhancing the productivity and versatility of Apple’s tablets.

While the iPhone 15 series debuted Apple’s first 3nm chip, the A17 Pro, the transition to 3nm chips for Mac computers is not expected until after 2023. Gurman speculates that the forthcoming M3 chip, set to succeed the current 5nm M2 chip, will be featured in the next generation of MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, and Mac models. This chip upgrade will likely bring improved performance and power efficiency to Apple’s beloved lineup of laptops and desktops.

In a move towards wearable technology, Apple plans to release its first spatial computer, the Apple Vision Pro, in early 2024. Priced at $3,499 (roughly Rs. 2.9 lakh), the Vision Pro is expected to be a niche product with limited sales compared to Apple’s more affordable offerings. However, Gurman predicts that the presence of the Vision Pro at retail stores will attract more customers to explore Apple’s other products, further solidifying the company’s foothold in the technology market.

Apple’s future looks promising with the upcoming releases of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. These devices, along with upgraded iPad Pro models, new Mac computers, and an innovative spatial computer, demonstrate Apple’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology and providing customers with cutting-edge devices. As we eagerly anticipate their arrival, it’s clear that Apple is poised to continue its success by delivering exceptional products that enhance our digital lives.
