Computer manufacturer HP has recently introduced a range of new gaming products in the Indian market. Among these products are the HP Omen Transcend 16 and Victus 16 laptops, the HyperX 27-inch gaming monitor, and the HyperX Cloud II Core wireless gaming headset. We had the opportunity to spend some time with these newly launched products, and here are our initial thoughts on them.

Starting at a price of Rs. 1,59,999 in India, the HP Omen Transcend 16 gaming laptop is equipped with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 series graphics card and a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900HX processor. It claims to be the thinnest and lightest laptop from HP, measuring only 19.9mm in thickness and weighing less than 2.1kg.

The HP Omen Transcend 16 is available in the Shadow Black color option and features a 16-inch WQXGA 240Hz IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The display offers a maximum brightness of 400 nits and a response time of 7ms. Additionally, the laptop comes with a full-sized backlit keyboard.

In terms of storage, the Omen Transcend 16 offers a 1TB PCIe (Gen4) NVMe M.2 SSD and 16GB of DDR5 RAM. It also includes a wide range of ports, such as two Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, three USB Type-A ports, an Ethernet port, a headphone and mic combo jack, an HDMI 2.1 port, and an AC charging port. The laptop is powered by a 97WHr battery and features a 1080p webcam, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and dual speakers with audio by Bang & Olufsen. It comes preloaded with Windows 11 Home.

HP Omen 16 Laptop

The HP Omen 16 laptop starts at Rs. 1,04,999 and can be configured with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 series graphics card and a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700 processor. Similar to the Omen Transcend 16, this laptop also comes in the Shadow Black color option. It features a 16.1-inch full-HD 165Hz IPS display with a maximum brightness of 300 nits and a response time of 7ms. The Omen 16 is equipped with a full-sized backlit keyboard.

For storage, the Omen 16 offers a 1TB M.2 SSD and up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM. It includes ports such as one USB Type-C port, three USB Type-A ports, an Ethernet port, a headphone and mic combo jack, an HDMI 2.1 port, and an AC power port. The laptop is powered by an 83WHr battery and features a 1080p webcam, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and dual speakers with audio by Bang & Olufsen.

HP Victus 16 Laptop

The HP Victus 16 laptop is priced starting at Rs. 59,999 and comes equipped with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 GPU and an Intel Core i5-13500H processor. It is available in the Performance Blue color option and features a 16.1-inch full-HD 165Hz IPS display with a brightness of 300 nits and a response time of 7ms. The Victus 16 also includes a full-sized backlit keyboard.

In terms of storage, the laptop offers a 512GB PCIe (Gen4) M.2 SSD and up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM. For connectivity, it features one USB Type-C port, three USB Type-A ports, an Ethernet port, a headphone and mic combo jack, an HDMI 2.1 port, an SD card reader, and an AC power port. The HP Victus 16 is powered by an 83WHr battery and includes a 1080p webcam, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and dual speakers with audio by Bang & Olufsen. It comes preloaded with Windows 11 Home.

HyperX 27-inch QHD Gaming Monitor

HP also showcased its new HyperX 27-inch QHD (1440p) gaming monitor, which offers a 165Hz refresh rate and a fast 1ms response time. The monitor comes with a customizable arm that allows for height and angle adjustments to suit the user’s preferences. During our brief experience with the monitor, we found that the colors appeared accurate, and the content was sharp and clear. The HyperX 27-inch QHD gaming monitor is priced at Rs. 30,990 in India.

HyperX Cloud II Core Wireless Gaming Headset

Finally, HP introduced the HyperX Cloud II Core wireless gaming headset, priced at Rs. 9,190 in India. This wireless headset boasts a claimed battery life of up to 30 hours and is equipped with 53mm drivers. The headset features an aluminum frame with a red and black color scheme and includes a noise-canceling microphone, making it ideal for multiplayer gaming.
